Training - The PGS Framework

  • Organic Agribusiness Training
  • Organic production trainings tailor made to specific enterprises as per need
  • Organic standards knowledge, application and compliance

A local PGS framework for Zimbabwe was developed and an activity report showing the Modus Operandi is available. The PGS framework presents how this local certification program is run and gives details that are required to improve on impartiality of the organic products that are produced. It also shows how our various stakeholders are involved at local, regional and national level.

The framework also shows the links between this local certification scheme and the Zim Organic label. The PGS framework is an instrument that is used for the Zimbabwe organic compliance system and is subject to periodic review at local, national and international levels.
